Hi I’m Elliot — an award-winning wedding photographer with a passion for telling love stories through natural, timeless imagery. After years of capturing beautiful destination weddings around the world, I’ve recently embraced a new adventure: fatherhood. Becoming a dad has inspired me to focus closer to home, photographing weddings in my local area so I can spend more precious time with my daughter while continuing to do what I love most — documenting unforgettable moments for couples like you.

✺ My style of Photography
90% of my approach to weddings is documentary and storytelling. My photojournalistic training & experience enable me to capture decisive moments, position myself in the right place at the right time whilst making the most of whats happening in front of me. I tend not to concentrate too much on details, but more on the important interactions between you, your families and wedding guests. Not working from a ‘shot-list’ during the wedding timeline, enables me to be much more creative and preserve what is actually happening.
Aiming for 10% of the day to photograph the newlywed portraits & formal groups photos, allowing my couples to spend less time standing in front of the camera and more time celebrating with family and friends, which truly makes the best photos. There is always going to be more of an emotional tie to wedding images that capture the raw emotions, the relationships and amazing fun that happens when you bring two loving families together to become one.
With every wedding, the mission is to tell your story in a personal and unique way, letting things unfold naturally. Success isn’t based just on capturing a handful of nice pictures, it’s about capturing images that tell the full story of the day, that you & your family will cherish for a lifetime and generations to come.
I pride myself on able to offer a fast service that delivers the complete wedding collection of photos within a 2 week turnaround. When comes to the wedding photography collection – if it’s a good, it stays in and you’ll get it! I would never limit on the amount of images that I supply to my couples. Couples get to see the full story of the special day with professionally edited photos that don’t have watermarks and are ready for printing and sharing with family and friends.
I like to keep it simple. I charge by the hour as I cover a lot of different types and sizes of wedding and find this to be the easiest and most honest way to price my services.

I will need the booking fee of 25% of the total price to secure me as your wedding photographer. Unlike a deposit, a booking fee is non-refundable but can be transferrable to another date in the event that your wedding has to be rescheduled, providing that it’s a day that I’m available.

Very simple: - The booking fee payment and completion of my online wedding photography contract.

All payments are preferable done via bank transfer. The invoice for final remaining balance (75%) will be sent out one month prior and the wedding date. Final payment can be paid anytime within that month leading up to the wedding day.

I’m sorry, but I can’t hold the date or pencil you in. To be fair to everyone I can’t hold a date without the non-refundable booking fee and a competed contract. I accept bookings on a first come first served basis.

I have been a photographer for over 25 years and in that time have gained so much experience including photographing hundreds of weddings. What this translates to you is that I am a confident and competent wedding photographer with the ability to tackle any given situation whilst producing consistent results and having strong interpersonal skills.

I edit all the wedding images individually - I do not batch process bulk groups of images automatically - so every single one of your wedding images gets the attention it truly deserves.

I’m based between Durham and Darlington in the North East of England. I cover weddings locally in the nearby counties of Northumberland, Cumbria, Tyne & Wear, Yorkshire and County Durham. I also love to travel and photograph weddings throughout the UK.

As soon as possible since I can’t hold dates. Most of my weddings are generally booked between 2 -1 years in advance. Occasionally, I do get secured by couples 3 years prior to their wedding date.

I aim for all wedding images to be ready for viewing, sharing and downloading within 2 weeks via the private online gallery.

The number of images depends on many things - the number of guests, hours of coverage, type of events. Every wedding is unique and image amount differs. On average you should expect to receive anywhere between 70-90 fully edited images per hour of coverage.

The online gallery is your online collection of all your wedding photographs. The Gallery is private password protected. When the images are ready, you receive a gallery invitation email containing your passwords and download pin number, access can be gained to the gallery. Using the 4 digit download pin number, clients have access to all their full resolution wedding images which they download to a computer. The gallery has an option of sharing a single photo or the whole collection with family & friends through the socials or by email. Ordering and purchasing prints & print products is made very easy for any one that has access to the gallery.

In this digital day, it’s even more important now to preserve these memories in print. Digital copies can and do get lost - hard drives fail and technology changes quickly - try to view wedding photos on a floppy disk (if you remember what they were) nowadays.
Although it is hard to believe that you could forget any moment, the truth is that memories do fade over time. Wedding albums are like storybooks - preserving the memories, to be looked at any time regardless if you have wifi or an electricity supply.
I love technology and look at images on a screen every day, but I believe that nothing beats the connection of holding a physically print/album in your hands. -
Yes! absolutely, both indemnity & public liability. Would not work as a professional photographer without it.

The images selected for editing and finally delivery reflect my high standard so that all viable images are included in your online gallery of high resolution files. I don’t release the outtakes, and any images not delivered are not archived, and therefore not available. In regards to wanting the RAW files to edit them yourselves, please trust me that I spend a great deal of time editing these images to a high standard so there would be no need to re-edit them.
